To All -

Tonight the light northwest wind held, though Mark A - in the shadow of the
Hook with an outgoing current -- was tough to get around for the
non-spinnaker group. And the spinnaker group had easy reaches to Mark 11 and
back to the finish line.

Only two races left on Wednesday evenings - one regular race next week, and
the last night's fun Pursuit race in September. It's been a good year with
very few missed races due to weather.

Coming up is the Labor Day Regatta, always fun if the weather cooperates. I
feel like a broken record encouraging the Cruising Fleet to come racing
Sunday afternoons. Especially the spinnaker division boats. If you want
points now's the time to stack 'em up. Usually there is more than one race
and the winds hold for some great sailing.

See you on the water.
